Advocacy - ATI advocates at both individual and community levels to make sure your rights are protected. On a one-to-one basis, we work with people to assist them in reaching their goals. This may include assistance in the obtaining of services through federal or state programs, organizations, and businesses.

On a community level, we work to raise awareness, provide consultations regarding accommodations in employment and education, civil rights, legal protection, and housing. We strive to educate through presentations, sensitivity trainings, and distinctive events.

Peer Counseling - The peer approach is one by which staff members can share disability experiences with and provide encouragement to people with disabilities.

Peer counseling is offered on a one-to-one or group basis. all situtations are consumer directed and designed to assist participants to formulate and achieve their own goals.

Benefits Advisement - Advocates assist consumers with application processes for Social Services, Medicaid & Medicare, Disability, Section 8, and more.
