Who We Are
Action Toward Independence promotes the independence, inclusion, participation, and personal choice of individuals with disabilities. Action Toward Independence advances the independent living philosophy and advocates for the legal and civil rights of individuals with disabilities.
We offer a variety of services and programs that are available to the men, women, and children in our community that live with disabilities. Our services and programs include, but are not limited to: mental health peer support, veterans' advocacy, educational support, benefits advisement, skills training, and the Lenny Epstein and United Way loan programs.
